The story “Captive Spirits” Book 1 in the Legends of Aztar Series takes place on the populous planet called Aztar. The inhabitants of Aztar have lived for ages unknown, caught up in the confusion of war and pain brought on by an evil magic. They live divided by two beliefs that cannot be merged.
One belief centers around an all-powerful god called Boc. An order of Dark Priests has risen over the centuries. They call themselves the Priests of the Brotherhood of Boc. The priests of this order have gained knowledge of a strange and powerful magic. They have learned how to Capture Spirits. They will use this black and secret art to bring about their goal of a world under their domain of blood and pain.
One belief teaches of a loving and ever watching Father Creator. They believe He created all things and watches carefully and protectively over his children who love and follow His teaching. They believe that in a time of great troubles their Father Creator will send to them a Deliverer. Has that time finally arrived?
The Legends of Aztar begins with the first King and Queen chosen by the people. King Si believes in a powerful God named Boc. His beloved Queen Alexis follows the teaching of Father Creator. They will fight to learn the truth, they will fight to save their children, and they will fight to save their world. Because they are willing to pay the price the Legends of Aztar begins.
